Bull River and Ibex Peak Late Winter
The Bull River is now very cold and slowly moving beneath the glass frozen surface. It is late winter, and all is cloaked in ice and snow with very little activity from the wildlife. A snowcapped Ibex Peak and surrounding mountains are obscured by clouds. Along this very stretch of the Bull River, French Canadian trappers and explorers were living and trading with the local First Nations peoples, and it was they who named this range the Cabinet Mountains.
