Dutch Ridge ~ Paul Bunyans Cabin in the Clouds

Longfellow Peak and the formation known as Paul Bunyans Cabin are dusted with early snowfall and shrouded in afternoon clouds. This scene shows pastel colors of fall spreading across the valley up onto the mountains of the Livingston Range above the North Fork of the Flathead River flowing in the lower foreground. On the far left, under darkening clouds, are the cliffs of Wolfgun Mountain and on the right in the recessed valley are the steep canyon walls of McPartland Mountain and Heavens Peak.
