The vast Lovell Canyon sits beneath the towering Mount Charleston, cloaked in a blanket of snow and shrouded by clouds. Located just to the west of Las Vegas, Nevada, these wildlands are an available day trip for those adventurous enough to visit and hike through it.

About This Photograph
This dark mountainous scene was photographed in the mid-morning during the month of March while Zedekiah was flying and exploring the Spring Mountain Range near Mount Potosi west of Red Rock Canyon in southern Nevada.
Image Rarity
The image was taken from a moving aircraft, as Zedekiah piloted the aircraft while simultaneously operating the camera.
Zedekiah used the clouds shrouding the mountains as a backdrop, where timing and being in the place-in-space for this scene to reveal itself was crucial to this image composition.
Lastly, it is impossible to simply walk up a trail and take the same photograph again. This image was very difficult to create, and is truly one-of-a-kind, therefore making it extremely rare.
