Morning Fog Below Blackfoot City

In this scene across the Avon Valley, while dark silhouettes of the Black Mountains in the Robert E Lee Range of Helena National Forest rise above on the horizon, the light of dawn awakens this beautiful spring morning. Wisps of fog rolling gently across the lower sunken dell with its marshy wetlands full of life seem to emanate from the old abandoned 1800s settlers ghost town known as Blackfoot City.
