The Serenity of Bowman Lake

In this late summer scene, crystal clear waters gently ripple the reflections of clouds laying across Numa Ridge and Numa Peak to the left and Cerulean Ridge on the right. In the center, back at the very end of the lake where the clouds part on the horizon, Thunderbird Mountain sits silently, with the ancient Thunderbird Glacier on its eastern slope, one of the few remaining active glaciers in Glacier National Park. Silent, calm, serene, there is powerful harmony in nature in this beautiful setting.
